With no hot surfaces and complete invisibility of the pipework embedded under the floor, the underfloor heating system is accident, tamper and vandal proof.

Beaconsfield High School

A new building at Beaconsfield High School uses Evenheat designed underfloor heating throughout the 650 square metre floor area. The system offers an ideal efficient heating solution combining comfort, safety and security.

Primary School with Underfloor Heating

St. Peter's Nursery

At St. Peter's C of E Primary School in Wallsend, a 400 square metre extension for a new nursery was provided with the benefits of an Evenheat designed underfloor heating.

Safety and Comfort

The PEX heating pipes with integral oxygen diffusion barrier are embedded in a solid floor with carpet tiles and vinyl finishes for the normal and 'wet' areas. With the heating safely under the floor, there are no hot or sharp surfaces to provide any hazards to the children or staff. Water splashes on to the floor will also dry more quickly due to the underfloor heating.

For control purposes the underfloor heating system is sub-divided into three zones, main nursery space, kitchen and toilets. The heating in each area is set by room temperature sensors.
